Metropolitan Kammerorchester Wien

Metropolitan Kammerorchester Wien was founded in Vienna in 2008 and brings together professional musicians of different cultural backgrounds. The orchestra's repertoire spans from Baroque and Viennese Classicism to the music of the 20th and 21st century.

The orchestra has appeared at the Musikverein and the Konzerthaus in Vienna, with international engagements reaching from Salzburg to Seoul.

Violinist, conductor and Stehgeiger Ion Scripcaru is the orchestra's artistic director. He was first violin in the Volksoper Wien orchestra for eleven seasons, and his repertoire includes Mozart, Johann Strauss and Franz Lehár. In the historical Viennese Stehgeiger tradition, he leads part of the programme from the violin.

Five Production Team is the promoter and organizer of the Sofia concert Vienna Spring — responsible for the local realization of the event, from planning and venue coordination to marketing and promotion, ticketing coordination and show-day delivery.
